The suspended medical professionals are Dr. Anjum Nazir, a Consultant Gynaecologist at Sub-District Hospital Sopore, and Dr. Tariq Ahmad Dar, a Medical Officer specializing in anesthesia at District Hospital Bandipora. Both have been prohibited from engaging in any form of private medical practice across Jammu and Kashmir until further notice.

കോഴിക്കോട്: കോഴിക്കോട് ജില്ലയിൽ രണ്ടു പേരുടെ മരണത്തിനിടയാക്കിയ നിപ്പ വൈറസ് ബംഗ്ലാദേശ് വകഭേദമാണെന്ന് കേരള സർക്കാർ അറിയിച്ചു. ഈ വകഭേദം ഒരു പകർച്ചവ്യാധി ആയി മാറാൻ സാധ്യത കുറവാണെന്നും എന്നാൽ ഇതിന് ഉയർന്ന മരണനിരക്ക് ഉണ്ടാക്കാൻ കഴിയുമെന്നും ആരോഗ്യ മന്ത്രി വീണ ജോർജ് പറഞ്ഞു.
