ജയ്പൂർ (രാജസ്ഥാൻ): ജയ്പൂരിലെ കൺവാടിയ ഹോസ്പിറ്റലിൽ ഡ്യൂട്ടിക്കിടെ അനസ്തേഷ്യ കുത്തി വെച്ച് ലേഡി ഡോക്ടർ (27) ആത്മഹത്യ ചെയ്തു. സവായി മാൻസിംഗ് ഹോസ്പിറ്റൽ മെഡിക്കൽ കോളേജിൽ ഒന്നാം വർഷ പി.ജി വിദ്യാർത്ഥിനി കൂടിയാണ് ഇവർ. കൺവാടിയ ഹോസ്പിറ്റലിൽ റെസിഡൻസി ചെയ്യുകയായിരുന്നു ഡോക്ടർ. ഇക്കഴിഞ്ഞ വെള്ളിയാഴ്ച്ചയായിരുന്നു ഡോക്ടർ ആത്മഹത്യക്ക് ശ്രമിച്ചത്. ശനിയാഴ്ച്ച ആണ് ഇവർ മരിക്കുന്നത്. സംഭവസ്ഥലത്ത് നിന്നും ആത്മഹത്യാ കുറിപ്പൊന്നും ലഭിച്ചിട്ടില്ലെന്ന് പോലീസ് പറഞ്ഞു. ഇക്കഴിഞ്ഞ വെള്ളിയാഴ്ച്ച ഡ്യൂട്ടിക്കിടെ ബോധരഹിതയായ ഇവരെ ഉടൻ തന്നെ സവായ് മാൻസിംഗ് ഹോസ്പിറ്റലിൽ എത്തിക്കുകയും ഐ.സി.യു വാർഡിൽ അഡ്മിറ്റ് ചെയ്യുകയും ചെയ്തു. ഇവരെ രക്ഷിക്കാൻ ഡോക്ടർമാർ അവരാൽ കഴിയുന്ന രീതിയിൽ എല്ലാം ശ്രമിക്കിച്ചെങ്കിലും ഒന്നും ഫലം കണ്ടില്ല. ശനിയാഴ്ച്ച രാവിലെ ഡോക്ടർ മരണത്തിന് കീഴടങ്ങുകയും ചെയ്തു. ഡോക്ടർ ആത്മഹത്യ ചെയ്യാനുള്ള കാരണം എന്താണെന്ന് ഇപ്പോഴും വ്യക്തമല്ല. സംഭവവുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട് പോലീസ് ശക്തമായ അന്വേഷണം നടത്തിക്കൊണ്ടിരിക്കുകയാണ്. അസ്വാഭാവിക മരണത്തിന് പോലീസ് കേസ് രജിസ്റ്റർ ചെയ്യുകയും ചെയ്തു.

Hyderabad: The Telangana State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission has ruled that a delay in performing a crucial operation not only constitutes negligence but also indicates a deficiency of service. Consequently, the Commission has directed Kamineni Hospitals Ltd and a pediatric orthopaedician to jointly pay Rs 6 lakh in compensation to address the harm suffered by a patient with cerebral palsy and hemiplegia.
